SW Champagne N Sunshine

A flashy gold overo, Sunshine makes a very pretty picture. She has great balance and is very athletic. I have seen her jump three and half feet over a log. She is not hyper or excitable and accepts her training quickly. She has some height and will be one heck of a rider. Her sire is Cool Looking TC and her dam is HF Snowball (from leading breeders-Helms Farms). Skips Artist, Awhe Chief and My Skip Vanzi breeding. This is a stout stallion with a working performance build.  His pedigree is full of all around performance horses.  He is a rare find.  He is negative for the OLW gene and should be a high overo producer (according to an APHA study).  He is registered as a cremello overo but is a very light gold champagne.  According to the Paint Horse Journal, the very loud sabinos are around an 85% paint producer on solid mares.  . 'Rowdy' has a foundation build with very thick muscling. His hip is massive, ties in low and has a wide muscular chest. 'Rowdy' has great leg conformation with strong bones. He will improve legs and hoofs in almost anything.  He is very quiet and kind.  OLW neg dam and a QH sire.  His dam came off the APHA leading breeders Helm Farms.  Skips Artist is an APHA leading sire.  I have two full sisters that I am keeping as broodmares.    If you are serious about raising quality champagne paints, he is the one to start with.  He would also be a perfect cross for a Half Arabian program.

His first foals are a loud red roan overo colt and a minimal sorrel overo. The price has been reduced due to injury. A young mare got out and was next to his pen in standing heat. Artist got his front right leg hung up above the knee. He has two puncture wounds that are filled in and almost healed. There is minimal proud flesh (from the filling in). He is 100% sound and has no problems. A simple blemish means a lot of savings.

He is my personal project horse. He is a very flashy black and white tobiano that doesn’t fade in summer. He is very quiet and laid back and will make an ideal trail horse. I really look forward to hitting the trails this summer with him. He is the only gelding that isn’t home raised.
